eight to five
i'll be waking up to an early monday morning
where 'early' isn't noon or 1pm or 4pm.
my first REAL/entry level/post-college job.
a career? in accounting?
goodbye personality.
hello she's all grown-up.
8-5. m-f... just like high school.
as for the end of daydreams in my little world,
i'm realizing that there are perks to being a grown-up...
i'll be moving out w/am. a 2 bd/2ba apt.
i'll be getting a pug. his name will be schroeder.
& maybe it's denial, or craziness, or this lingering hangover,
but maybe i'll be happy being a grown-up??! i think so.
i'm definitely hoping so.

some goodies:
virginia & i went to pierce street saturday night.
buttery nipple x 2. long island ice tea x 2.
hot guys x 0. dancing x 98324732983243298!
i've worked out 7 days straight.
for 9.99 i got straylight run's album.
for a measly 100.00,
i'm going to see wicked (w/am, soph, & eric.)
i am no longer addicted to soda.
i am addicted to pink lemonade.
much better.

BETTER, in general.

growing up sucks,
but i think you'll love it.
it's just one of those things.

you used to be a mere 5 minutes away,
hopefully somewhere that i can hide when i run away.

we might not be moving anymore.
so, apt #4 (2bd/1.5ba) on the other side is going to be available in sept.
so i think the grown-ups are going to move out & the kiddies are going to stay here... & yes, that would mean that we'd be about... 30sec-1min walking distance. i'm torn. :P

pros:
-am & eric are applying to take the pharm exams & w/registration & etc they were worried about using an address we might not be at.
-3bd/2.5ba in HB for $1400. CHEAP!
-family will be close... meaning free food. haha.
-close to gym
-close to everything
-CHEAPNESS

cons:
-no dogs allowed
-the parentals will be 30sec-1min away... they're not even planning to take the furniture w/them. i think they're literally just going to sleep there. i think they (especially my dad) doesn't want us to disappear on them & forget about them... understandable. sigh
-no new place. no new start.
-this place is falling apart

so... i don't know what's going to happen.

me, home, summer... yeah, for part of it, for sure...
i'm trying not to quit children's,
not for the sole reason of wanting home...

i think they're going to be in the torrance/carson city area.
me & soph are trying to get into shape for the summer
so that we can sneak into the pools @ ritzy hotels
& not jiggle so much in our suits. haha.
i work at a health insurance company...
& i work in the billing & eligibilities dept
as something between a billings clerk & an accounts receivable clerk.

how was your weekend??

p.s. 8-5 x 5 days x neverending weeks takes some adjusting... but i think i'm doing okay. the hardest part is the traffic... it's just shitty. but i think i'm going to work out at the gym near aliso viejo and drive home around 630. oh, & i realized that i'm going to get FAT. this is what i do: wake up, sit in a car for 40 minutes, get to work, sit down for 4 hours, go to lunch, sit down for an hour, go back to work, sit down for 4 hours, drive home, sit down for 1 hour, get home, sit down & eat dinner, sit down & watch TV, shower, sleep. so the only time i'm actually up for a good amount of time is when i'm taking a shower. let's just hope that i stick to this gym thing. otherwise, you're going to have a big fatty for a best friend. no offense to fat people.

p.p.s. i should mention that if i do stay in this apt. i'm getting a pug anyways & hiding him. :)
